OUR STORY
vXc Creative was born out of our love for art, history, researching and finding things. Vanessa and Candice are married and live in a 200 year old little cottage on Dartmoor National Park, in Devon, with their dog Obi-Wan.
We met purely based on this next sentence:
“CANDICE! You need to talk to this lady,
she actually knows about Gentleman Jack..."

Had anyone said "you’ll both be married in a year and be living your dream of all things Lister" when we met, we would have laughed. But here we are 4 years on. We were very lucky to be able to marry during that very short period lock down got lifted. We had a beautiful wedding which was very heavily Lister based and games were played where we got the guests to decode crypthand and shout out very vulgar words.

We love making things for each other and it has always been very focused around Anne Lister, Ann Walker and Gentleman Jack, and just about everything and anything related. So, the items we have in our shop and gallery are in fact our little love tokens to each other. We have other collections coming too, so please keep an eye out.
Vanessa
Farnden-Collins
Vanessa has been a professional Graphic Designer & Illustrator for over 25 years and for the last 12 years; a Freelance Graphic Designer; running her own business. She has experience in a range of printing methods and mediums as well as typography. Vanessa has HND in Graphic Design, which she studied at Kingston University.
Candice
Farnden-Collins
Candice has been a graffiti artist since a young age and has been a keen artist for most of her life. Her background is actually Sales Management and Coaching. She has a BSc in Acupuncture which was also studied at Kingston University.
